CLSBA Unity Summit

California Latino School Boards Association Presents

Accelerating Latino/a/x Student Success

A Virtual Event

CLSBA’s 2021 Unity Summit brought together school board leaders from across the state for a candid discussion about what education leaders and elected officials can do to accelerate the learning of Latina/o/x students as the pandemic rages on. This year’s theme, Accelerating Latino/a/x Student Success recognizes that this crisis created conditions for Latina/o/x students who were disproportionately impacted after over a year of virtual learning. The pandemic exacerbated and widened existing inequities faced by Latino/a/x families who are unable to access broadband or other resources needed to meet their children’s educational, social, emotional, and nutritional needs.
